If you’re dealing with a break up right now, and you feel so bad that you think you cannot recover, think again. There are more break up survivors around than you think. While it cannot be denied that dealing with a break up is difficult, here are some ways how these break up survivors coped with the loss and bounced back to normal.

1. Go Through the Different Stages of Grief With Your Head Held High

Denial, anger ,guilt, bitterness and acceptance are all the stages of grief that you have to go through in order to heal. Each stage plays an important role in getting you ready to be single and happy again. Think of each as a vital ingredient in baking a cake. If you skip one and the cake will taste nasty.

Mourning is a part of breaking up, but you have to believe that this is just a phase that you need to live through before you can move on. Some people skip this phase completely and end up being more wretched than ever. You must go through these stages to really get over your lost love.

2.Break up Poetry Will Help You Heal

When it seems to all be too much you, writing about your feelings can help. Simply get a piece of paper and pen and start writing all that you are feeling. Do not stop until you feel better. When you have finally healed you can tear the letter into pieces to give yourself the closure you deserve.

Getting over a break up is all about training your mind to accept that the relationship is over. The reason i say that is because most of the pain you go through after a break up is triggered by all those thoughts of your ex. Thinking about who they are with currently, why they left, what you did wrong..etc. So if you can find a way to condition the mind to accept that its over, you will begin to think about your ex less and eventually you will be totally over them. But it all begins with the tips i shared with you today. So take action , you owe it to yourself.
